English Cocker Spaniel
English Cockers are, in our minds, the perfect dog. They have the heart and personality of the bigger sporting dogs, but in a smaller, more manageable package. The term "merry cocker" that is used so often to describe them is very accurate.
English Cockers generally stand about 15-16 inches tall, and the average weight is around 26-30 pounds. They come in a wonderful variety of colors. There are both Solid color and Parti colors, which come in a great number of color combinations.
English Cockers are not the ideal dog for everyone. They do require frequent grooming, they do not do well being left alone for extended periods of time, and they are not outside only dogs. If you are considering being owned by an English Cocker, please be sure you can provide for these wonderful dogs' needs.
English Cockers are very versatile dogs. They love being with their people, and enjoy a wide variety of activities with their owners. English Cockers across the country are excelling in activities like Agility, Obedience, Tracking, Hunting, Flyball, Therapy Dog work, and numerous others.

Irish Setter
Irish Setters are wonderful dogs. They are very intelligent and can have a mind of their own, with a definite sense of humor. The term "rollicking" that is used so often to describe their personality is very accurate.
Irish Setters generally stand about 26-28 inches tall, and the average weight range is between 60-75 pounds. Their beautiful red color ranges from chestnut to dark mahogany.
Irish Setters are not the ideal dog for everyone. They require frequent exercise, a securely fenced yard, regular grooming, and they are very intelligent...if you do not provide them with mental stimulation, they will find a way to do it for themselves. If you are considering being owned by an Irish Setter, please be sure you can provide for these wonderful dogs' needs.
Irish Setters and their owners enjoy a myriad of activities together. Aside from being beautiful, Irish Setters can excel in obedience, agility, hunting, therapy work, and numerous other activities.
